Preschool Sept. 13, 2010

Sunday night in our house was a school night. That has never happened before. Nicholas started preschool this past Monday. He LOVES it. He went to bed with no issues, woke up smiling and excited he barely ate any breakfast. Then he was off to preschool for 2.5 hours. We dropped him off and he immediately went to play. I'm glad he felt comfortable already. We went home and Jacob went right in Nicholas' room and just stood there. My thought was "Ohh, he misses his brother." Then Jacob grabbed a toy and ran out of the room. I had to laugh. That kid is hilarious. Two and a half hours went by very slowly for me. I was trying to keep busy so I cleaned out the car, balanced the checkbook, paid a few bills, and cleaned off the desk. I opened the drawer to put somethings in it and came across a picture of Nicholas the day he was born. I ALMOST started crying at that point but held it together and knew he was so happy to be in school. When I picked him up he was smiling from ear to ear and informed me he wanted to go to school everyday. He is only on the 3 day a week schedule for now but I told him we would look into that later in the school year. I'm so gald he likes it and looks forward to it. Here are a few pictures of his first day but he was so excited to get going he wasn't very patient.
